On 21 May, FACTORING PRO organized a webinar on the topic: “Dynamic discounting and financing of orders - neoclassical factoring”.

The webinar was attended by over 140 participants from Russia, Armenia, the USA, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Georgia, and Germany.

Presentations were made by:

• Ilya Pokamestov. General Director UniFactor, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation;
• Betul Kurtulus. Regional Director of FCI;
• Michael Lednev. Commercial Director UniFactor, Ph.D., Associate Professor, University of Synergy;
• Egor Gazetin. CEO of the unified factoring platform GetFinance;

The following key issues were addressed by the speakers and delegates during the webinar:

• the situation in the macro and microeconomics and payment discipline of buyers;
• business activity of factoring companies in Eastern and Southern Europe;
• FCI statistics for 2019;
• actual factoring products in a crisis;
• marketplaces that develop commercial finance;
• prospects for the development of derivative financial instruments.

Substantive presentations by speakers and questions from webinar participants supported the high interest of the discussion participants throughout the entire webinar, which lasted more than three hours.
