What are the legal aspects of Receivables Finance & Factoring?
Legal webinar
4 March 2022

In a world where is it becoming more and more uncertain, companies involved in trade must understand the legal aspects. The training of employees gives them the knowledge and ability to carry out the work and in turn, benefits the company itself. Improving knowledge on the subject and regulatory changes would help a company with disputes, risks and obligations, warranties, breaches and indemnities. Therefore, a well-educated employee is a valuable asset to a business.

To assist in this, FCI Academy has organised an exclusive online training on Legal Aspects in Receivables Finance & Factoring: Global Standards & the General Rules for International Factoring (GRIF), on 6-7 April 2022 via Webex.

This training will combine presentations and discussion sessions with Q&A sessions, practical examples, and genuine case studies. Senior experts from the FCI Legal Committee will act as presenters and instructors in all sessions of the training on topics including:

  • Components of a Factoring Agreement
  • Understanding the GRIF
    • Preliminary and Firm Approvals
    • Assignment of Receivables
