Certificate of Legal Aspects in Receivables Finance
Programme
The Certificate of Legal Aspects in Receivables Finance aims to provide factoring professionals with the necessary legal knowledge on the FCI Two-Factor System & focusing on the General Rules for International Factoring (GRIF), the industry standard reference for cross-border factoring transactions. The program syllabus includes two (2) e-learning courses:
Public
The program is primarily aimed at professionals involved in legal, risk, compliance & operations functions, dealing on a daily basis with cross-border factoring transactions.
Certification
Participants sit for on-line multiple choice exams covering the study material. Those who pass will be awarded a certificate: “Certified Legal Aspects Professional in Receivables Finance”.
Course duration
The program is available twice (2) a year, every January and July. The registration closes on the 24 of the month before the course starts.
The program is designed to be completed within six (6) months including the online examinations for the programme courses.
- All courses can be taken simultaneously.
- Only the students who have completed all courses in the certificate package within 6 months after the starting date shall be awarded the FCI Legal Aspects Certificate (LAC).
- Students who have taken and completed the same courses on an individual basis shall not be eligible for the LAC.

Price
The program fee is Euro 425 for FCI member and Euro 575 for non-member.
