Organized by LUSIS & CO SA, with the support of FCI, this three-day seminar marks the company's 10th anniversary and brings together a decade of field expertise in receivables management across the CEMAC region. The event also coincides with the official launch of LUSIS & CO's credit purchase (factoring) activity.
Key themes span six thematic panels: receivables recovery, financing solutions for SMEs, credit purchase mechanisms, factoring as a growth driver, fraud and legislative risk, and credit insurance with non-recourse factoring. Sessions combine practitioner presentations with panel discussions, addressing the legal framework, digitalization of accounts receivable, and international factoring standards.
Target audience: SME and SMI business leaders, CFOs, credit and treasury managers, collection and recovery officers, commercial directors, and representatives of banks and financial institutions across Central and West Africa.
Value for participants: attendees gain practical tools and proven methods to secure trade receivables and reduce payment default risk, insight into emerging trade finance mechanisms for converting receivables into immediate liquidity, and an understanding of how factoring — still nascent in Francophone Africa — can support SME growth without increasing debt. The seminar also offers direct access to industry experts, regulators, and financial institutions shaping the region's receivables finance market, alongside networking opportunities within FCI's global community of practitioners.
