The FCI mobile app provides a simple and convenient way to connect to other FCI members, stay up-to-date with industry information and view upcoming events.

To get the FCI network app on your Apple device, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the download button below or open the Apple Store on your device; search for "FCI Network" and select the app with our logo.

  2. Click the "Download" button.

After the download is complete, you can open the app, sign in with your credentials and start using it to access the features and services offered by the FCI network.

NOTE: If you downloaded our app before 28 May 2024, please do an app update. We have recently added some exciting new features.

To have quick and easy access to the FCI app on your mobile or desktop, follow these steps:

  1. Click the download button below or open your browser and go to app.fci.nl/login.

  2. You will be prompted to add FCI to your home screen. Follow the instructions to complete the installation process.

After the installation, you can add a shortcut to your home screen, making it easy to access the app. Open the app, sign in with your credentials and start using it to access the features and services offered by the FCI network.

Log into the App

To log into our app, you can use the same credentials that you use to log into our website. 

Never logged into our Website or App before?
When you first register for any of our events, you will receive an email that contains instructions on how to create a password for accessing the app. Please check your spam folder if you haven't received this email yet. Once you have received the email, simply follow the instructions provided to complete the account set-up process. 

Setting up your Profile

Before connecting with fellow event attendees and other app users, make sure your profile is completed. A fully completed profile will make networking at our events and, in general, much easier.

You can start by clicking on the "Menu" button (3 lines) at the top right, then clicking "My Profile". Here, you can update your personal profile. Our system automatically adds your name, email, company, and job title. If you need to change anything here, please email the FCI Secretariat at fci@fci.nl.

Add your Phone number and LinkedIn Profile: Start by scrolling down and clicking 'Edit Profile'. Here, you can add your contact number and LinkedIn URL for the QR Code contact-sharing feature. Make sure you add your LinkedIn URL and not your profile tag. To get this, you can do 1 of 2 things:

  • On the mobile app: Open your profile in the LinkedIn app, click the three dots, select 'Contact Info', tap your profile and select copy. Then, paste it into the LinkedIn field in the FCI app.
  • On desktop: Open your LinkedIn profile, click 'Contact Info' next to your location, and copy your profile link. Then, paste it into the LinkedIn field in the FCI app.

Add or Update your Profile Photo: Scroll down and click 'Edit Profile', then click 'Change Picture'. You can now upload a photo from your library or take a quick photo.

Features

The FCI App has an array of features that can make your experience more convenient and enjoyable. Whether you're new to the app or a regular user, understanding how to navigate and access these features can enhance your experience. By clicking on the features below, you can discover what each one does and learn how to use them.

You can now connect with fellow attendees via your very own personal QR code on our App!

Accessing your QR Code: Start by clicking on the "Menu" button at the top right, then click "My Profile". Make sure you have completed your profile set-up; this will enable the QR code contact-sharing feature. Click on the "Share via QR" button on the bottom to share your contact details with fellow attendees quickly.

Scanning a QR code: Open the camera on your phone, put the QR code into the frame, and a link will pop up on the screen. Click the link, and the contact will open up on your phone. You can now edit or simply save it as is.

The chat function allows you to chat with other members who are also connected on the App. In addition to one-to-one chat, there is also a group chat feature where you can include multiple people. The group creator can add and delete members. FCI may open some public topical group discussions between members in the App in the future.

Starting a chat: Open the chat area, then click the '+' sign at the top. You will be opened to the 'Direct Chat' type. Now, you can select the user you want to connect with. You can search by first name or surname. Once you have selected the person, click 'create'.

Starting a Group Chat: Open the chat area, then click the '+' sign at the top. You will be opened to the 'Direct Chat' type; change this by selecting 'Group Chat'. Now, you can add the group name. Select the users you want to add by searching their first name or surname. You can choose to make the group public or private by checking or unchecking the check box. Once you have completed all fields, click 'create'.

Joining a Public Group Chat: Open the chat area and select the public group that you wish to join. at the bottom you will see a 'Request Join' button, click this, and your request will be sent to the group organiser/admin for approval.

This includes various kinds of information about FCI, its members and the industry.

Make sure you allow 'Notifications' for the app to get news updates and real-time event highlights while attending our events.

The Events tab lists all of FCI's events.

You can find all event details, such as date, place, brochure, registration form, and sponsors, and you can easily register for upcoming events.

This section also includes the events you are registered for. It will allow you to browse information such as:

  • The agenda, list of attendees, speakers & sponsors

  • Connect & chat with other attendees

  • Access the satisfaction survey and attendee list

  • Download session documents & presentations

  • and so much more...

The section includes the list of members with filter to find a member based on different criteria.

This section presents FCI Academy learning opportunities including the links to register to courses.

Library - It contains the same documents as on the website under the library of MY FCI.
