FCI Academy’s Certificate Programmes are designed for practitioners who want to deepen expertise in the areas that most influence performance and control: Sales & Marketing, Risk Management, and Legal Aspects. Each programme concentrates on practical application across domestic and cross-border assignments and aligns with standards used across the FCI network.
Our Certificate Programmes
Each Certificate Programme is open to members and non-members and includes the Foundation Course. This means participants without prior industry experience can start from first principles and advance to specialist competence within a single programme.
Certificate of Sales & Marketing in Receivables Finance: This programme focuses on the commercial engine of a factoring business. Participants develop an ethical, repeatable approach to segmentation and targeting, opportunity qualification, value positioning, pricing considerations and relationship development; supporting conversion of opportunities into performing portfolios and stronger client experience.
Certificate of Risk Management in Receivables Finance: Centred on end-to-end risk practice, the programme strengthens seller selection and monitoring, buyer assessment, concentration controls, portfolio early-warning indicators, fraud red flags and dispute prevention; safeguarding performance without creating unnecessary friction for clients and correspondents.
Certificate of Legal Aspects in Receivables Finance: This programme consolidates the legal foundations underpinning enforceable, well-documented transactions. Topics include assignment and its legal effect, documentation quality, security and guarantees, conflicts and collections; reducing ambiguity and improving outcomes, particularly in the two-factor context.
“When members train specialists together; Sales, Risk and Legal; the standard rises for everyone involved in two-factor and cross-border assignments,” said Aysen Çetintas, Education Director, FCI Academy. “The Certificate track is a practical way to embed that standard throughout 2026.”
Why the Certificate route?
