FCI and EBRD to Deliver 2026 Online Receivables Masterclass
EBRD & FCI Online Receivables Masterclass

FCI, through its partnership with the EBRD Trade Facilitation Programme, will deliver the EBRD & FCI Online Receivables Masterclass, a comprehensive online education series running throughout 2026.

Developed as part of EBRD’s long-term commitment to strengthening financial markets across its regions of operation, the Masterclass will comprise eleven expert-led webinars delivered between January and October 2026. The programme is designed to support banks, factors and non-bank financial institutions in building practical, sustainable receivables finance capabilities.

Through this collaboration, FCI brings its global expertise, industry best practice and practitioner-led insights to the programme, complementing EBRD’s market knowledge and development mandate. Together, FCI and EBRD aim to deliver accessible, high-quality education that reflects the realities of receivables finance across diverse markets.

Expert-led delivery

The webinars will be hosted and delivered by experienced practitioners, including Aysen Cetintas (FCI) and Wayne Mills (Atom Advisory), ensuring a balanced combination of institutional perspective and real-world market experience.

This practitioner-led approach supports the programme’s focus on practical application, informed by international best practice and operational experience.

A structured learning journey across key themes

The EBRD & FCI Online Receivables Masterclass is structured around four core themes that reflect the full lifecycle of receivables finance:

  • Product – covering the fundamentals of factoring and supply chain finance, including legal, regulatory and compliance considerations
  • Growth – exploring how receivables finance can support SMEs, emerging markets, supplier relationships and ESG objectives
  • Risk – addressing both fundamental and advanced approaches to managing credit, operational and legal risks
  • Technology & Data – examining digital transformation, data analytics and innovation in factoring and supply chain finance

Each webinar is designed to combine conceptual understanding with practical application, drawing on real-world examples and international best practice.

Participants who attend each session will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognising their engagement and learning as part of the programme.

Supporting capacity building across EBRD markets

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of FCI and EBRD to capacity building, professional development and the promotion of sound receivables finance practices. By making the programme available online and free of charge to eligible institutions, the Masterclass aims to reach across EBRD regions and support the development of resilient financial ecosystems.

FCI’s role in the programme builds on its longstanding mission to promote knowledge-sharing, education and collaboration within the global receivables finance community, while supporting EBRD’s objectives of fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Participation in the EBRD & FCI Online Receivables Masterclass is free of charge for EBRD partner institutions.

FCI looks forward to working closely with EBRD and contributing experts throughout 2026 to deliver this important education initiative, and to supporting institutions as they strengthen their receivables finance capabilities.
