About IFRS9: FCI will be holding its first annual FCIreverse Forum on 17-18 October in Madrid, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Dick Korf, a senior partner from KPMG, and author of the FCI report on IFRS 9 and the accounting implications from both a traditional factoring and reverse Factoring perspective. Mr Korf will give a one hour lecture on the implications of IFRS9 from the perspective of all contractual parties: anchor buyer, buyer’s FI, the supplier and the suppliers FI. The FCI IFRS9 Reverse Factoring Report will be made available to all participants of the Forum and is already available to FCI members on the private net.About Dick Korf: Dick leads KPMG’s Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Group for the Financial Sector in The Netherlands. He is responsible for their service offering on IFRS 9 conversion and advisory services for corporates and financials. He joined KPMG in 1986 and was promoted to partner in 1996. Dick has vast experience as an auditor and advisor in the banking sector. He led the Banking Group in the Netherlands for many years and serves global clients as lead partner.
