Introducing the Technical Committees – Education Committee (EdCom)

The Education Committee (EdCom) plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of FCI's educational policy. The committee works closely with the Education Director and Deputy Education Director to oversee all FCI courses and training. They ensure that the courses meet a high standard and align with the organisation's goals.

The Education Committee's primary responsibility is supervising the modification of existing courses, the release of new ones, and the development of new education manuals. They continuously improve the educational materials to ensure they are up-to-date and effective in delivering the intended knowledge.

Moreover, the Education Committee aim to provide opportunities to learn and develop your skills in various formats, including online courses, onsite seminars and workshops, tailor-made training, webinars, etc. Whether you attend in person or participate remotely, the Education Committee is dedicated to helping you achieve your education goals.

The Education Committee’s commitment to maintaining high standards and providing accessible education opportunities is a testament to their dedication to the organisation's mission.

Dedicated to helping you achieve your education goals at a time and place that suits you.

Currently, the committee is composed of:

  • Mr. Philippe GRESTA (BNP Paribas Factor, France) - Chairman

A Message from the Chair

I am very honoured to serve FCI as Chairman of the Education Committee. Education is one of the main pillars of FCI, along with the GRIF and Edifactoring, and having well-trained professionals across the chain is a key success factor. Our strategy will thus aim to keep our training and courses relevant in our environment, both in form and content, improve awareness of their value and push them decisively to our existing and future members.” - Mr. Philippe GRESTA
