Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; 25 June 2025 - FCI held its 57th Annual Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, with a highly successful, informative and in-depth programme involving leading industry experts via presentations and panel discussions on the latest developments, trends and challenges in the Global Factoring and Receivables Finance Industry.
Following the Council Meeting which took place within the event, a new Executive Committee has been elected for 2025-2027.
The Chair has been confirmed as Ms. Chenyue MAO (Wells Fargo Bank N.A., USA.)
Chenyue Mao is Managing Director at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., where she spearheads the bank’s international factoring business and advises multinational clients on cross-border working-capital strategies. Over a 21-year career in factoring—including over a decade guiding Wells Fargo’s global franchise—she has grown annual import-factoring flows to €2.6 billion while fostering innovation in open-account solutions. Within FCI she has served as Vice-Chairman, regional mentor and committee lead, helping to modernise governance and elevate the association’s brand with market influencers. Her agenda for the coming term centres on broadening membership—particularly among major banks and financial institutions —expanding import-factoring know-how within the network and promote international factoring in emerging markets, establishing clear legal and operational standards, and enhancing member value through training, networking and data-driven insights. Shanghai-born and Atlanta-based, Mao is praised for her transparent, collaborative leadership and her commitment to “Together We Will Go Far,” a credo she applies to mobilise FCI’s diverse network toward shaping the future of global trade finance.
In her first act, the new Chair announced the appointment of two Vice-Chairs, Mr. Çagatay BAYDAR (TEB Faktoring, Türkiye) and Mr. Philippe GRESTA (BNP Paribas Factor S.A., France), influenced by their strong performance.
